How do I calculate a discount?
Use "What is X% of Y" with the discount percent, then subtract the result from the original price. For a 20% discount on 250: 20% of 250 = 50, so you pay 200.
How is percent change calculated?
Change = (new − old) ÷ old × 100. A positive result is an increase, a negative result a decrease.
